Worked in the microfinance sector in Uganda and Southern Sudan from 2005-2007. Started an MFI in Juba, Southern Sudan. Prior to this I worked for Bank of America in San Francisco. Currently working as a banking and microfinance consultant for the Africa Team within the International Advisory Services Group of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
Interested in returning one day to the West Coast to continue a career in economic development/microfinance

In a few words, please describe your interest in microfinance.
I have had the opportunity to witness the impact microfinance can have towards a country and its people who have been in exile for many years and decide to return to start over again. Not a cure for poverty but a catalyst for overcoming poverty.
